Cookie Policy

This page explains what cookies this website uses, what they are for, and how you can control them.

Effective 30 July 2026

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They are used to remember information between pages and visits — for example, to recognise that several page views came from the same visit rather than from different people.

What we use them for

We use cookies for two purposes only: making the website work, and understanding how it is used so we can improve it. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or share cookie data.

The cookies on this site

Strictly necessary. A small number of cookies are needed for the site to function and to keep it secure. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site, and they do not track you across other websites.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and move through the site — which pages are viewed, how people arrived, and how many start an estimate request. These cookies record how the site is used, not who you are. IP addresses are anonymised, and the contents of our forms are never sent to analytics.

If additional analytics or error-monitoring tools are enabled in future, they will be used for the same purposes — understanding usage and diagnosing faults — and this page will be updated to name them before they are added.

How to control cookies

You have several options:

  • Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings, either for all sites or for specific ones.
  • Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics across all websites.
  • Browser privacy modes and tracking-protection features also block most analytics cookies.

Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to browse this site, view our work, or contact us. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the site to behave unexpectedly.

Do Not Track

Browsers and standards bodies have not settled on a common way for websites to respond to Do Not Track signals, so this site does not currently respond to them. The controls described above remain effective regardless.
